I just recently watched the movie “Rough Aunties”, and cried throughout. One of my favorite scenes was when Jackie and Sindy were “plotting” to convince Jackie’s husband to allow the adoption/long term care of “one more” (a girl of about 10 years). My family has cared for American foster children from the time I was 12 years old (a good 25 years) when i asked my parents if they would become foster parents. That scene struck a chord with me, as I can remember similar conversations taking place in my house!! It was a fabulous ending to make me smile after so many intense stories shared throughout the film.
